Susan Witcraft is a Managing Director at Guy Carpenter and is part of the Instrat^® team in the firm's Mid-America Region.  Her responsibilities include actuarial services, MetaRisk^® modeling and financial analysis.  She is also chair of Guy Carpenter's Financial Integration Team and a member of the Agricultural Specialty Practice. 

Before joining Guy Carpenter in 2002, Susan was Chief Actuary at RTW, Inc., a regional workers compensation insurer. Previously, she was a Principal at Milliman USA, where she consulted to a wide variety of property-casualty insurance clients as well as leading the firm's dynamic financial analysis research and development efforts.

Susan is a Fellow of the CAS, a member of its Committee on Reinsurance Research and a past CAS board member. In addition, she is a member of the Actuarial Advisory Committee at St. Thomas University and the Editorial Advisory Committee of the American Academy of Actuaries' Contingencies magazine. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in statistics from Stanford University.
