Rodney Kreps is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and was a previous chair of the CAS Committee on the Theory of Risk. He has written several papers for the association's journal, including two that have won CAS's prestigious Dorweiler Prize: "Investment-Equivalent Reinsurance Pricing" (1998) and "Riskiness Leverage Models" (2005).
Rodney worked in the Instrat® unit at Guy Carpenter & Company, LLC before retiring in 2006.
Rodney earned a B.S. from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Princeton University. He also acquired tenure as an associate professor of physics at Princeton.
